Course Objective

This course provides information and ideas for using effective instructional strategies and routines for ELLs. The content objectives addressed in this course include the following:

• Define differentiated instruction and plan for differentiated instruction within the classroom
• Examine the importance of building academic vocabulary and identify ways to build students' academic vocabularies
• Consider the benefits of cooperative learning and incorporate cooperative learning activities into classroom instruction
