Cooperative Learning through Interaction

Cooperative learning allows interactions between ELLs of varying levels of English language proficiency and native English-speaking peers.

It is important to allow ELLs opportunities to interact with native English speakers who can provide assistance in answering questions and explaining words and concepts in both academic and social settings.
