Rosi, Tommaso, and Pasquale Onorato. "Video Analysis-based Experiments Regarding Malus’ Law." Physics Education 55, no.4 (2020): 045011. https://doi.org/10.1088/1361-6552/ab853b
Summary: In this article, the authors present simple and low-cost experiments about the polarization of light. Using an LCD monitor or RGB LED with a Polaroid and a digital camera to acquire videos, students can explore the polarization of light quantitatively by measuring the typical features of Malus' law. This experiment is suitable for undergraduates because of the topic and the simplicity of the activities.
