Digital citizenship--privacy, safety, and security. The student practices safe, legal, and ethical digital behaviors to become a socially responsible digital citizen.
Demonstrated Proficiency
Do a quick check during small-group or one-on-one instruction.
Present examples of information that are safe and unsafe to share online. Ask students to identify the behavior as "safe" or "unsafe". Ask the students to provide additional safe and unsafe examples.
Examples:
- a favorite sport
- a favorite subject in school
- a disliked color
- personal phone number
- where a person lives
