Knowledge and Skills Statement
Digital citizenship--privacy, safety, and security. The student practices safe, legal, and ethical digital behaviors to become a socially responsible digital citizen.
Demonstrated Proficiency
Use an observation checklist to monitor student progress in demonstrating account safety. Students should be able to create strong passwords, log off accounts and devices, keep passwords secure, and demonstrate other required classroom account safety requirements defined in local policy.
Note: For items that are not easily observable, ask students to explain how they are demonstrating safe practices. (e.g., How do you create a strong password?)
